## Introduction
Joy PDF PowerSuite is a professional-grade PDF utility designed for high-precision conversion and merging. All processing is performed 100% offline on your local machine to ensure maximum data privacy and security.

## Getting Started
### 1. Activating a Free Trial
If you are a new user:
1. Launch the application from your desktop or installation folder.
2. Click the **🎁 GET TRIAL** button in the footer area.
3. Enter your email address to initiate a **3-day unrestricted trial**.
4. The status banner at the top will update to show your remaining trial days.

### 2. Path Selection
Before processing, you must define where your files are and where the results should go:
- **Select Files**: Choose specific PDF documents from your computer.
- **Select Folder**: Batch import all PDF documents found within a specific directory.
- **Output Folder**: Set the destination directory for your converted or merged files.

## Processing Modes
Joy PDF PowerSuite offers three distinct execution modes:
1. **Convert Individually**: Converts every selected PDF into its own separate Office document (Word or Excel).
2. **Merge Only**: Combines multiple PDFs into a single PDF file named `Joy_Merged_Output_[Timestamp].pdf`.
3. **Merge & Convert**: Merges all selected PDFs first, then converts the combined result into a single Word or Excel file.

## Advanced Settings
### Financial Detection
When enabled, the software uses a specialized engine to identify currency symbols and numeric patterns. 
- **In Excel**: Automatically applies accounting formats and right-aligns financial data for easier auditing.
- **In Word**: Ensures table gridlines are preserved and formats numeric columns with professional alignment.

### Universal Human Sort
The software uses "Natural Sorting" logic. This ensures that files are processed in an order that makes sense to humans (e.g., "Invoice 2.pdf" will always appear before "Invoice 10.pdf"), rather than strict computer alphabetical logic.

### Security Features
- **Password Protection**: If your PDFs are encrypted, enter the password in the "PDF Password" field before starting.
- **Offline Processing**: Your documents never leave your computer. Conversion is handled entirely by the local engine.

## How to Process Files
1. Select your **Source** and **Destination** paths.
2. Choose your **Processing Mode** (Individually, Merge, or Merge & Convert).
3. Select your desired **Format** (Word or Excel).
4. Click **START PROCESSING**.
5. A confirmation window will appear showing the "Verified Processing Order." Review the list and click **Proceed**.

## Troubleshooting
- **No Tables in Word**: If tables appear as plain text, the software will automatically retry with "Aggressive Stream Parsing." If it still fails, the PDF may contain images of text rather than selectable data.
- **Permission Errors**: Ensure the PDF file is not currently open in another program (like Adobe Acrobat) while Joy PDF PowerSuite is trying to access it.
- **Missing Gridlines**: Ensure "Financial Detection" is checked to force high-visibility borders on detected tables.
